One of my childhood pleasures was reading under the covers in my bed. My mother would often come into my room and say, “Don’t read in the dark! You’ll get bad eyesight!” Well, I didn’t listen. I started wearing glasses since I was 14 years old. And well, I’m okay with that because I wear contact lenses and books feed my intellectual curiosity. 🤓
